Slow Fluid Antenna Multiple Access
نویسندگان
چکیده
Fluid antennas offer a novel way to achieve massive connectivity by enabling each user find ‘port’ in space where the instantaneous interference undergoes deep null for multiple access. While this unprecedented capability permits hundreds of users share same radio channel, needs switch its best port on symbol-by-symbol basis, which is impractical. Motivated this, paper considers scenario fluid antenna updates only if fading channel changes. We refer approach as slow access ( $s$ -FAMA). In paper, we first investigate immunity -FAMA through analyzing outage probability. Then an probability upper bound obtained, from shed light achievable multiplexing gain system and unpack impacts various parameters performance. Numerical results reveal that despite having weaker power than symbol-based, xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">fast FAMA (i.e., notation="LaTeX">$f$ -FAMA), spatial 4 or more possible users’ have large numbers ports.

This paper aims to realize a new multiple access technique based on recently proposed millimeter-wave reconfigurable antenna architectures. To this end, first we show that integration of the existing reconfigurable antenna systems with the well-known non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technique causes a significant degradation in sum rate due to the inevitable power division in reconfigurabl...

متن کاملAntenna Selection for MIMO Non-orthogonal Multiple Access Systems
This paper considers the antenna selection (AS) problem for a MIMO non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system. In particular, we develop new computationally-efficient AS algorithms for two commonly-used scenarios: NOMA with fixed power allocation (F-NOMA) and NOMA with cognitive radio-inspired power allocation (CR-NOMA), respectively. For the F-NOMA scenario, a new max-max-max antenna selecti...
